    Default TM Shaft Question


    Hey guys and gals! Good day!

    I just got my very first boat! Woohoo!! It came with a 30 lb trust TM and a 2.5 Mercury outboard.

    Ok, so quick question for you experts;

    - I have the Pelican Predator 103. I want to purchase a 55 lb thrust TM to go on it. The specs on the TMs are 45" shafts and 36" shafts. What would be the best option for this type of watercraft?

    Personally, I would try the 30 lb thrust motor before I bought another, assuming it’s in working order. I would think it would push that boat plenty well, and the battery charge would last longer.

    36" unless you want to be reaching up to grab the controls.
    I'd rather be fishing.
