Nice job! That came out great! I don't have a well on my boat. Still have pulled the trigger on the terrova either. Still battling if I really need link or not lol. Just knowing how and where I fish, I'm not sure I'd ever use it.

On another note. When mounting the heading sensor, where do I mount it? I've read that metal interferes with it and I'm in an aluminum Xpress boat.

You need an old fashioned compass to place the heading sensor, to rule out magnetic interference. Once you have that the instructions are easy to follow. Aluminum is nonferrous.

I installed mine on the starboard side because the trolling motor wires run down the port side. The compass comment is spot on while trying to determine a good mounting location. Name: 20180813_170406.jpeg

    Default Terrova 80

FWIW. I placed mine in a similar location. While I was running the wires, I noticed a hidden miniature shelf, below where I had mounted it, under the console. It would've been perfect, but I had already drilled holes.

Well, all my wires run down that side but I still might check for interference.

Thanks! Owned it for two years now and it's been a great boat.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered my terrova. Should be here Tuesday. Ordered the I-pilot non link riptide. The way I fish and where I fish, I just wouldn't use the link. Also ordered the foot pedal. Some people seem to like it and some don't. At least I'll have that option.
