I installed my Ulterra on my RT188C and now have an area where the old trolling motor was that I would like to cover. (Because I’m anal I guess) I was going to trim it to fit somewhat so it would kinda match. I texted my Ranger dealer asking what a rubber tread, like is on the right side, would cost...

Quote “The pad is 46.86 plus 9 dollars in shipping. It's a make item only so it will be about 3 weeks. “

    Whew!! Any ideas?

I had already been to Walmart and Harbor Freight and seen what they had and wasn’t even close. I’ll probably just have to pony up and order it ... I knew there were some pretty knowledgeable people on here, was hoping someone knew of something that matched a little better.

Amazon has these self adhesive stair treads, $15 for a pair. You could also tape off that white spot and spray it with aerosol bed liner. Just a couple of ideas.

If you know somebody that owns or works for a commercial rubber roofs company or does maint on roofs for commercial buildings ....you might get lucky and snag a rubber tread remnant they use to put in high traffic areas like around hvac units and stuff. That's what I do. They usually have several different kinds . It's pretty expensive to buy a new section but I have managed to latch on a piece or two before.

The stuff I have got before is about 1/4" thick and black pliable rubber with like raised dimples on one side and peel and stick on the other. Works perfect .

I wouldn't waste my time or my energy looking if it for what it cost from the dealer and you know it matches perfectly.
For the cost of the boat, the TM, the rods, the tackle....you're worried about $55?

Looking at the age of this thread , you have probably got her done.. My thought was you would have to remove the Rubber already there on that Fiberglass hull to put the new longer strip in place... show us how it came out
