Just pulled them off slowly. New boat so stickers had not been on for more that three months. Pulled some stickers off of engine cowl as well. There was some residue left behind (but not a lot). I used 100% IPA that I had bought at a local Fry's Electronics store. It is electronic grade so a little expensive. I use this when I want to guarantee no residue is left behind, like when I installed Stern Mate.

Fry's sells a lower grade IPA that is pure that is a little cheaper. Good luck...

    Default killin' time...

    Odds and ends.

Raised front FF using a RAM product. It is two ball mounts with a PVC pipe that can be cut to length. Right now height should work great when single pole fishing over a brush pipe which is what I do mostly. About same height as Hi-Tek rod holders. Thought about going with Hi-Tek FF stand, but wanted to try this first since it has more adjust-ability. Can always shorten pipe if too high. Lay it down when using big motor. RAM has different ball sizes and post lengths.

SternMateâ„¢ Transducer Mounting System- high speed Adhesive-No Screw Holes - Sounding- No transduc

mine gets flakie around 20 ~ 25 mph. Having the back of transducer tilted down slightly helped with that and image quality. very happy with SI images. I troll at 3 mph with motor tilted up.

have thought about mounting transducer from small dash mounted unit in bottom of boat to see if speed holds up at higher speeds, but have not done so yet. Not high on my priority list.

The 1 1/2" Ram ball system I used to mount 898 on console does just fine, actually rock solid, but would go with larger ball size if buying hardware again.

    danny.
