    Default Boat Conversion

Having sold off the rest of this rig I have decided to convert it to something that will look somewhat like a jon boat with a raised platform in front. I have already removed the windshield and top rub rail. Weather turned bad so I am at a slight standstill. By reducing the weight I should be able to move it with a small motor. Was thinking about making a paddle wheeler out of it since I am looking for slow trolling and not trying to get it air borne like a 747 Will update as I move forward.

Will be watching your progress....there are SOO many old invaders and trihull ski boats around. They are roomy and deep. Also will be stable due to the trihull. Have been wondering how one would work as a crappie rig. Even thought about getting one and cutting the consoles out...fiberglassing over the cut and making a big open design with the tiller motor. Some even have storage all down the sides.

Will be interested in what you come up with.

Hey BB, might want to send a PM to STUMP HUNTER one the SC forum. He bought a boat last year just to get the trailer and decided to convert the boat to a crappie boat. Turned out really good. It has a similar makeup to yours. Tell him I referred you to him.
