I am on the fence here, as I always just troll with spinning gear. I am looking into getting the Shakespeare ATS 15 line counter reels, but not sure which rod to pair it with. I like 8 ft rods personally. I have 8, 10, 6'6, 7'6 rods already but they are geared towards spinning reels.

Thoughts?

My budget is under $60 for a good trolling rod to pair these with. I am looking at trolling grubs and flicker shads #5.
