Seems very tedious, I just tie a Surgeon's loop.

Cool never heard of that knot just looked it up. Will be giving it a try. Thank you for your feed back. FYI it ties quick once you get it down just slowed down for the videos sake and helping others.

I tried them all, nothing is as fast and easy as a Surgeon's loop.

    I only know ONE

I put the line thru the jig eye -- pinch the tag end & main line together -- make a loop with the doubled lines -- pass the jig thru that loop TWICE -- cinch the lines down while maneuvering the knot up/down the lines to make the loop as big or small as I want it.

I use loop knots ONLY on my double jig rigs for Livescope flippin' ... and most times just for the upper jig. I use a Improved Clinch knot for the lower jig, so that the lower jig's loop doesn't hang on the brush, and I keep the upper jig's loop well away from the brush. If I need to get a jig DOWN IN the brush I switch to my secondary rod, which has a weedless jighead tied on.

took me a while but I use the loop knot on my crappie jigs. I have tried to learn several of the ways but this way works for me even with my clumsy old fingers.
I may be just too lazy to learn other ways. still a good video
