I'm currently using 6# Vicious Panfish hi-vis line on most of the outfits I'm currently using.

I use Power Pro Slick8 in Moonshine color for most of what I do. Many great lines out there

One other thing (tip ??) that you might consider .... is that the reel is a 6.2:1 retrieve ratio reel, which is "high speed" .... so you might want to slow down your handle turning retrieve rate, so you don't "burn" the bait past the fish.

And with the reel weighing 8.7oz, you'll want to use a rod that will balance out that much weight on the handle end. A "balanced" outfit will lay on your outstretched finger at the very front end of the handle. A slow dipping of the outfit towards either end is "acceptable", but a fast dipping towards the rod tip end means the reel isn't heavy enough for that rod. A tip heavy outfit will wear on your wrist & forearm, making it cumbersome & uncomfortable to use for any length of time. (referring, of course, to casting with it)

DSJ what lb test do you use in the PP moonshine. Also does it sing in your guides when loaded with a fish?
