I'm a 100% 1/16 oz guy. Sometimes painted pretty pinks, purples, chartreuses, oranges, & sometimes just raw gray lead. I like sickle hooks too. I always do alright with the crappies.

I have a good friend who prefers 1/32 oz. Sometimes I beat him and sometimes he beats me. I will say, honestly, that he does beat me more than I beat him.

I agree. I really like the 1/16 jig heads with sickle hooks. When slow pushing I use them and tie a 1/2 weight about 16 inches above it to keep jigs down.
