    I couldn't see the smaller line until I bought something called HatEyes. Clips to my visor and I flip it down. 2.5X magnification and it works great.

    Whats wrong with 40' cast's? You trying to catch fish or see how far you can cast? If you get a 12' rod you'll get about 46' casts! :-)

    Crappie not line shy and I seldom use anything but 1/8 or 1/4 on 8lb test
