On my lake, the crappies will move to secondary points with flooded timber next to spawning pockets. I also find a lot of bass hanging out here too. They tend to stay there for awhile before moving to flooded timber around main lake points towards July. Sometimes, I'll suspend minnows or jigs about 4 to 5 feet and slowly move along steep banks if the points are turning up nothing. After that, I try to look for current (wind or lake current if the dam is pulling water). Just keep moving and switching things up but come up with a plan of execution. If you don't catch anything, you'll at least be able to mentally log what didn't work. Good luck!
