I've sold thousands of these in the last few years, the line is run through and squeezed by the pinched swivel. Can also do regular swivels.

They work great and don't get snagged often.

Something I've learned and used bass fishing with a drop shot is tie an over knot at the end of the line and crimp a split shot onto the knot. Never lost one and if I get snagged too bad just pull hard enough and the line will come out of the split shot.

I drop shot double minnow rigs and double jigs all winter. I buy the original tube style drop shot weights because they tend to go through the brush and back out easier than standard round weights with the brass eye's. What I did to solve the line pinch is stuck a small flat head screwdriver between the wire and spread it out then just tied a regular not. Works well.

I’m thinking my problem was the particular brand I had. They kept cutting the line when pinching. They are the pinch swivel kind. I switched to a different pinched swivel brand and had no more problems. Guess I will either open them and tie on or just trash since cutting line. Thanks
