    Default Tires for an F250

I have a 2017 F250 Super Duty with a 6.7L Diesel. It is 4WD and currently has Michelin highway tires that are pretty wore out only after 35,000 miles so I am researching online to see what brand and type would be best for what I use the truck for. I typical do daily driving to work which is a 25 miles each way and I pull my 18' boat at least every other week (unless I am lucky with weather and to-do list completions haha) and I occasionally pull my 16' utility trailer loaded down with wood or bags of concrete or both for home projects and what not.

Like i said above, I have been scouring the net, but I have got nothing but great info from the forums here as far as fishing, electronics, boat maint. etc.
SO I would like to ask you all what kind of tires do you use and trust for slippery boat ramps, wet roads, and occasional dirt/mud trails?
I am looking at different AT tires such as the BFG TA KO2s and the Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrains and I been looking at All Weather tires.

Any adn all suggestions will be appreciated!!

I like BFG and have had great wear life on all that I have had. Just keep them rotated as recommended and they should last a long time.

I like the Cooper Discovery AT's. They have always been long wearing for me

That's what I run on my Silverado 1500 - long lasting, never a problem...when they eventually need replacing, I'll go with Cooper again.
Hunting them down to broil them up.

Being you are in Texas I would go for more of a highway tread for better wear, unless you do a bunch of off roading. I have a Ford F350 dually 4X4 7.3 and run highway tread up here in Wisconsin and they work just fine. I have had good luck with Goodyear Wrangler RT/S, a decent compromise between traction, wear and quiet.

Thank you all for the responses.
I just got back from Discount Tire and got a great deal on a set of LT275 /65 R20 WRANGLER ULTRATERRAIN ATs for a great price. I got a 10% military veteran discount and a presidents day 10% discount and now have money left over to put into the boat or tackle
I had highway tires from Michelin on the truck and they only lasted 45K miles.. and I do plan on buying a slide in camber later this year and will be taking the truck off road. I had a set of these Wranglers a long time ago on my CJ5 and they did well.

I don't envy you for what it must have cost to do that. I just shod my Nissan Frontier and it set me back over $600. My neighbor who runs a Toyota Mud Truck spent that much PER tire. Ouch...

I hear that Clint.. I did cringe when I looked at prices online the last few days.. so I made a budget and stuck to it..I did not want to spend over 300 per tire and I ended up spending less due to the discounts which was nice I just hope with rotations every 5000 miles and keeping proper inflation, I hope to get 60-80k miles on these. I am not a big money maker (I am a DOD civilian and not high up in the ranks) so I put it on my credit card that had a 0% for 12 months on purchases over X amount.. so I used that and plan to pay it off as quik as I can before the 12 months go by. I just hope my wife's van tires stay good another few years =)
