I am believe you can keep fishing. You can still have walleye, bass, bluegill, white bass, bass ect. JMO.

you can keep on fishing as long as you want. you just can't keep any. the first 15 you put in your livewell are yours to keep and do what you want with. if you want to catch 100 cause they are biting good go for it just can not keep any more than your 15 limit.

It's a legitimate question .... considering that in some states if you have your limit in the livewell, the next fish that comes into the boat can get you a ticket (if you're spotted), even if you release it. Don't know if that applies to Missou lakes, though ...

You can keep on fishing. Just not keep any.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

I usually just stay at 14 and play catch and release until I get tired of that and throw the last one in the livewell. Besides I can't count very good past ten with my shoes on.

that don't make sense, you get a limit of one kind, why can't you fish for a different kind.

You can .... the limit rules are specific to each species, but accidental bycatches happen. I don't think that rule is heavily enforced, anyway, even where it's on the books.

The only time you have to stop fishing once you have your limit is snagging paddlefish or in trout parks. You can continue to catch and release crappie all day. but if you catch a huge one, swapping it out for a smaller one in the livewell is a no-no.
Thanks Hookin'&Cookin', LOZslabhunter thanked you for this post
