Default fishing north channel below truman

If you were to go snaging below hwy 65 bridge and get your 2 spoobills, could you then go, with them hanging over the side like so many people do, go and crappie fish in the dead channel? My reading of the law says that you cannot have them on the banks or in the no boating channel but, nowhere does it say anything about the dead channel. I know that you can not snag or set trotline or jugs above the bridge.

I would guess that it would be ok since you are in a boat. The agents
set up at drake harbour to check them in on opening weekend and
that is above the no snagging zone. I would see no difference as long
as you were not snagging. If rule was enforced, they would have to
summons everyone that brought spoons back to the launch ramps
    at Warsaw.

I think I would get them cleaned and put away before I went out for a day of crappie fishing, just to be sure I was legal.
