    Fished Marion today a got into a school of 10" to 12" walleye and about 6" crappie they were stacked in the mouth of cotton wood point cove on some brush piles is about 12 fow. Looks like the stocking up there was successful. They looks really healthy and fat. Thanks for all you guys do for our lakes

    Well, thank you very much skeeter96! We stocked walleye at Marion in 2016, 2017, and 2018 so those 10-12 inch walleyes are fish produced through natural spawning activities that occurred in 2019! The unprecedented high water events of 2019 created excellent nursery habitat at Marion not only for walleye but also for crappie and other sportfish. We should have some great fishing during the next several years!
