For the first time since the mid-1990's, large scale production of walleye intermediates (8-inch +) is occurring within the KDWPT hatchery system.
This program gives fisheries biologists another option when requesting walleye for stocking in the state's walleye waters. 2018 will be the second year of the expanded program.
This program is a product of the Kansas Walleye Initiative which continues to improve walleye fishing opportunities in Kansas.

I know Wolf Creek ordered 1500 walleye to stock CCL from Wallace Fish Farm.
