    I have been fishing Stockton for 50+ years and have never seen a gar in that lake. With the huge population in Truman it seems really strange

    Interesting observation. Sometimes a lake I fish can unexpectedly turn into a “gar hole”.

    I too have never seen any there, however, the James River arm on Table Rock is loaded with them.
