    Default Peckerwood Lake

Any word on Peckerwood from this weekend? Lookin' forward to fishin' some pre-spawn out there in the next couple weeks. Shallow or deep?

Who the heck named the lakes in that state?

CEB, let me know when you go. I would love to go to Peckerwood. I have never been, and need somebody to show me the ropes.

The lake is bad low now from what I have been told. They did some work on the dam and its down as a result. This weeks rains and subsequent run off should get it back right.

Hey Gooch, you finally decide to come out of hiding. Folks at the Larto gathering were asking about you.

Its on the rise, should be back up close to normal by the weekend if we get the rains that are predicted. It is extremely muddy right now from the recent winds, and the run off from the surrounding duck fields. I will be there this weekend, but do not have high expectations. If any of you decide to try it, BE VERY CAREFUL. Low water and high winds (forecast shows gusts in the 30 mph range this weekend) will make for a dangerous combination on this lake this weekend.
