Good job.
Yesterday afternoon took a friend on a search for a few Crappie . We looked in some normal lake Crappie hangouts without seeing much . After a couple hours I decided to move to an area I knew held a few as he wanted fish to take home . I started seeing crappie as soon as I turned on my screen . I caught all mine on my trash jig while he pitched Purple and Chartreuse Umbrella tubes . A few of the bigger fish would look but not bite . He swapped to a tiny Crappie Magnet but it was the same . After a few minutes he changed back to the Umbrella tubes . It was finally good to fish a day with low wind for a change . Just another lesson for my friend . Like always more about presentation than the bait most of the time . He even tried Crappie nibbles which to me is a joke but if they want to try more power to them .😁 Terry said it was sure good to be out on such a nice day in January . The mess of Crappie just a bonus . On the way home we saw several Deer but still have about 6 weeks to burn my last tag.

I agree 100 %, on presentations. I have gallon bags full of trash jigs from the 1975-2025 and they catch fish. The jigs are faded and just plain ugly.
Good thinking on the trash bags jigs, I think I will make me a few
