Thread: Busy, Busy Day on Nimrod!

I didn't fish today but drove down to check out Carter Cove and Anderson Branch boat launching ramps. It was about noon and a lot of boats were loading up. There was apparently a high school bass tournament going on at Anderson Branch. They were parking clear up the road.
I talked with my son and he said they did alright even though the wind and wave action was pretty bad at times. Tomorrow looks like real low am winds so I may give it a try. Lots of boaters now days, be careful out there!

School tournaments all over now in addition to the usual tourneys. Desperately need more boat ramps. I have mixed feelings as I know they say they are “growing” the sport of fishing. Boats, electronics, $20 lures, hotels and gas probably make travel ball look cheap!
