    Default Takeum jigs took them today !


    What a day on the water . Launched on a ramp that I don't normally use . It was frosty but fish were snapping . I chased roamers with livescope flipping Takeum hand tied jig. Flipped the jigs and boat flipped every fish on 13' Trident Huckabee jig pole . Lost alot of short strikers at the surface . Caught 120 according to my electronic counter . Released a bunch over 12'' and kept a good limit . Just wonder how many that one jig has caught in last few trips ? Even ragged out the Crappie will eat it if you hold it in their face . It was nice out once the sun came out to warm it up . This old man just got tired and called it a day after 6 1/2 hours but fish were still roaming and still biting .

    Thanks , met up with Carol and Randell (RCC) today and delivered my fish to them . They were in Conway fixing Carol's parents washer and drier . We had a good visit and went out for lunch on their dime .Always a contest on who gets to pay . We have some great friends on this site .
