Black twist tail grub 1/32 oz jig head will catch em. Gitzits work. I like a tiny torpedo too.

Yea man -brown, green, pumkinseed, etc. fish just can’t stand a slow fall crawdad imitation and they’re mostly weedless. Fish it with a 1/8 oz insert style jig head. You have to look but can find them in a 2 or 2.5 inch.

There used to be a plastic worm called a salty sensation that had little arms and a tail that fluttered - it would catch em too. I caught a 5-2 in the big piney on one years ago.
