July is the latest for me.
I fished this morning and found a few in 16' of water. This one still had eggs in her. Guess left over from the spawn. It and a few others bit the jigs Takeum sent me a few weeks ago . Been itching to get out but high water and boat problems had me off the water . Hope to get back out soon .

Same water depth for me. 2 of the 10 I kept still had eggs.

Early fall some will have not absorbed the eggs yet here at least
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Glad to hear your still at it bud,,,, nice catch!
I've found egg sacs in fish I'm catching now (spawn was back in late April) ... but these egg sacs are "new" ones being developed for next year's spawn. Eggs in fish that didn't completely drop all of them (2 months ago) would have already been absorbed or would be brownish in color.
I think your question is backwards ... it should be what is the "earliest" (post spawn) you've found eggs in a Crappie ??
Female Crappie will begin developing a new egg sac shortly after having spawned or having absorbed any leftover eggs.
Yeah, I was kinda surprised at the size of some of the egg sacs I'm seeing now, too. I'm more used to seeing pinky fingernail sized sacs this time of year, not quarter sized sacs in 9-10" fish.
I just figured your fish would have already spawned around the same time as ours, if not a little earlier.
