    Default Fat girls dropping eggs


    Saw lots of Shad and fewer Crappie today . Some brushpiles hidden as so many Shad . Had some followers and lite bites today . Left with 19 all on orange/chartreuse tubes . The big gals bellies were not as big , figure some dropping eggs .

    Don't take many spawning Crappie to repopulate a lake . Biologists say the 10 to 12'' fish are best spawners and many big ones die after the spawn . Some of our lakes that flood can actually get overpopulated and cause stunting . But takes several years to grow a slab everyone looking to catch .
