Default Muddy water , Pollen , east wind , and more heavy rain forecasted

Took a buddy in his boat today. We used Huckabee Trident and Phantom 13' jig poles . Pitched 1/4 oz jigs with Southern Pro 2.5 '' Little Hustlers in orange/chartreuse. Windy from the east most of the time . Rain yesterday had creeks running and muddy. Trash drifts were bad in spots . We caught a big mess but way short of our limits . Took awhile to find them using livescope . Tough day but looks like weather may just get worse .

Is that all you use is tube jigs? I’ve thought about limiting my tackle box to one style and just different colors. Seems like you wear them out on the tubes

Use 2 baits 99% of the time . Both Southern Pro tubes . Umbrella 2'' in utc11 purple/chartreuse on #1 hook / 1/8 oz insert jighead . Little Hustler 2.5'' orange/chartreuse glow on #1/0 hook / 1/4 oz insert jighead. Can carry all the baits needed in a sandwich baggie in my shirt pocket . Kept a limit again today for my visiting friends . I don't feel the need for loads of baits in a rainbow of colors. Presentation and confidence is what you need most. Livescope is proving daily what I been preaching about fishing for years . You gotta put it in their face .
