Default Beautiful fall day on the water

Went back to Nimrod for a few hours today for a change. Hard to believe how few big fish I saw . I spent several hours scanning several different areas . Caught plenty of keepers 10 1/2'' + fish . Not many fish on cover . Saw a few on the bottom then found an area with fish suspended and caught a limit fast also released several more . Just no real slabs . Had an old friend that used to catch plenty from the bank ask for a few to fry . I kept my old friend ( 80 years old ) a limit . Anyone thinking fishing pressure not hurting some lakes just better wake up. Time to switch lakes again or contend with just catching small fish .

Gave my next door neighbor fish I caught Saturday . These old people love to benefit from our fishing trips . Not everyone can fish anymore .Please remember your older neighbors and friends .

I too enjoy giving fish to the less fortunate.

My retired neighbor brings me deer meat and unwanted antlers. I try to keep him supplied with eggs and some fillets. The dogs enjoy the antlers and I enjoy the deer meat. Works out well
