Saw Chuck at dinner on friday night and he said that he heard they wasn’t going to flood grassy this year. Has anyone heard anything about it? Sure wish D10 was still posting on here

Even if they don't flood grassy lake they will send the lake water to the river up to the point of 1' below. It is written in the bylaws for Lake Conway water management plan. Its been that way ever since Conway was built.

To get it done and over with. The water management plan has a specific date for when it has to be to winter pool, so they pull the plug and get it there on that date generally. Fall/winter rains are nearly unpredictable, They may call for a big rain and we get nothing, seen that many times, or it may be the total opposite and they predict a light rain and we get a toad strangler. The rain Patterns have changed in Arkansas and probably everywhere else for that matter, We don't see soaking drenching rains often anymore, now we have torrential rain falls that dump large amounts in very short periods.
