This afternoon the Yell County Dive Team responded to Lake Nimrod and rescued three individuals when their boat hit ground and sank stranding them in the middle of the lake. Once the individuals were returned to shore they were evaluated by Pinnacle EMS. The Yell County Dive Team returned to the scene and recovered the boat for the owner.

So if you launch at Carter Cove, how is the safest way to the river channel??
Edit: I see after looking at a map that I need to put in at the lower ramp, not upper ramp by the camping area. The lower ramp pretty much puts you out very near the river channel.

well it is safe to say the bilge pump could not keep up, 1 positive, they were not in real deep water, they could at least stand up.
