    Default A morning trip with some great friends


    My friends camping for a few days and wanted to catch a few for the freezers . Buster and James followed me out on the lake . We fished Southern Pro Umbrella tubes . Livescope sure can let you know quick if the fish are there . Swung them in with no net as usual . Huckabee Phantom and Trident 13' jig poles . Released about as many as we kept . When we had 75 it was just after noon but they were ready to quit . We had plenty to fillet , but they were still biting . That evening we had a great fish fry at camp . Most were suspended in open water just not many slabs .

    Wish you could be here . We kept all 3 limits today . Gave one of the limits to more campers that have had no luck . They were excited to have 30 Crappie to fry up . Released alot more too .
