    I got curious. I looked it up. It is a Goldeye. Commonly mistaken for a skipjack

    golden eye and a shad killer , toothy critters , they don't like them much in these parts ,only seen them on the red river drainage here .
    they get fair sized and will hammer a jig and some have a mouth FULL of needles !
