Default Crazy water levels this spring like a yoyo

Local lakes been raising and lowering by several feet all spring . Just looked like levels getting close to normal and 10 day forecast has a chance of rain everyday . Been slowed down by knee injury for over a month . Have trouble unloading and loading the boat alone .
Fished once this week in a east wind and falling water level . Livescoped lots of small fish pulling out of flooded timber as it dropped . Moved miles on trolling motor searching but found a limit of good fish . They are really poor due to post spawn . Hate seeing the big ones in such poor condition but means a good spawn . Few were on wood but some just roaming . Pitched the purple/chartreuse Umbrella tubes on a 1/8 lead head . Used Phantom 13 Huckabee rod to drop right on the fish .
This livescope has spoiled many of us jig fishermen . Keep hearing about the new Humminbird version of real time sonar . Can't wait to see if it is really better . It suppose to be out this summer and many folks preordering it. Guess if it is really that much better it will cost me money again to upgrade . Electronics and Covid seems to be putting the squeeze on big Crappie on some lakes . Never seen so many fishing before .
Ready for summer and end to high water , pollen and Covid . Hope everyone stays well and returns to school and work .

Nice limit, the fish are also pretty skinny here on beaver since the spawn.
