Default Crown Lake at Crown Point Resort - Fishing?

    Hi Guys,
Alabama member here, my family will be taking a quick Spring Break trip to Crown Point Resort this week and I though I would bring a small amount of fishing gear and try my luck from the bank. Do any of you folks have any general information about the lake or ideas on what may be biting and how to target them? From what I understand you can fish about anywhere from the bank and they have a few docks and piers for fishing as well.

Never tried to really fish that lake. Water is VERY clear! You can fish the docks, but the dock owners are likely to harass you for fishing “their water”... it’s a weird group of people that own those docks.

If I remember correctly, there are 2 public piers on the lake. You can also fish along the dam. Most I have seen are catfishing. As Loop said, the water is clear and you have to use clear water tactics. Lots of bass fishermen on the lake.
