    Default Spring break has sprung


    Took some guys fishing yesterday . Wind was bad enough but spring break has lakes rocking with boat wakes . We livescoped limits and released lots more with Huckabee rods and Southern Pro tubes . Still fishing open water and hunting down singles . Some big males were pale till they stayed in livewell and warmed up . Waters rising now and a few more warm nights and spawn will fire off .

    That’s great. Sounds like 120 crappie in one boat. Caught in open water chasing them down, can’t many say that.

    No we only kept 3 limits but released many more . If I take people fishing it is their option to keep up to state limits . It is not my place to tell them what they can keep within the law .

    They took photos and sent them to me . Not big fishermen but like to go . I usually like to help set up photo shoots/4 fish holds better .
