    Default Cold front crappie

I’m looking to learn every chance I get. A couple of days ago I was catching crappie in ditches with less that 2.5 fow in them, jigging 10” deep. Now, they are no where to be found. Did the pull out in search of deeper water, bury up on the bottom where they were?
I’d appreciate any information or ideas.
    Thanks

The bite typically falls off dramatically when a front comes in.
They move to different water or cover sometimes.
The exception I’ve seen is the spawn.
I’ve had the bite stay solid after a front as long as the water level doesn’t drop.

I prefer to fish a south wind before a front.
