    Default Kayak fishing Millwood Lake

    Hello,
I am planning a trip to Millwood lake and know nothing about the lake. I read that it has alligators. Can someone tell me if it is safe to fish around the horseshoe and mud lake area during the spawn in a kayak? I like crappie but I don't want to wrestle a gator for any!

    Don’t use a stringer.
It’s probably gonna be hard to get to horseshoe and Mud because of the current. Could probably fish a kayak out of Yarborough Landing or stay close to jacks Isle.

Awesome! I'll look into Yarbrough and Jacks Isle. I appreciate the input.
