    I been saying for a long time colors not as important as presentation . Check this out on Main Crappie forum here .'' Preaching to the choir '' Contains videos of Tommy Ezell and TJ Shands . A photo of one caught on bare unpainted jighead way before they made videos .

    Got any purple/chartreuse cigarettes?
    Met Ezell last year at Grizzly and he was great...spoke of tactics that apply to us Arkies.

    im new to crappie fishing but from what i seen. You’re right!

    color//size//shape matters to the people more than the fish

    i dont mean using a huge 10” bait or something ridiculous.

    i ran out of crappie jigs and tried using 4” fluke and (big or small) crappie would eat it too

    That’s pretty telling.... once you know exactly where the fish are, where your jig is in relation to the fish and how those fish react to your jig you quickly become a better fisherman by way of presentation.
