I use a 10' ozark rear seat and have a 10' reach. So with the 13' pole with handle extending back unlike a rear seat pole how much of the pole is actually being used? If 2' of handle is pointing back at the angler wouldn't that basically make it an 11' pole?

yes sir it is a 11ft reach when your arm gives up.
it was 13ft reach because i use the acc crappie stix cross over rod. It has a short handle.

hurt my arm for a week after holding it out haha.
i went back to old style 6 foot ultralight :o
