Great pick

Wind was so bad and cold yesterday . Had trouble getting on fish whether on cover or roaming . Most the the fish were in 6 to 8' of water . I tried switching to a bigger bait to fight the wind and get it down fast . I used a 1/4 oz insert head of a 2.5'' Southern pro tube in orange /chartreuse . They seemed to hit light and several good ones pulled off as they just barely hooked even with going from #2 to a 1/0 jig hook . Released a bunch and lost quite a few which is unusual . Flipping that bigger jig with a 13' Huckabee Phantom jig pole . I saw what I had read that lithium batteries do not perform as well in freezing temps . My battery read 15.2 volts early but after a day on the water it was still reading 14.2 volts .

I looked at the Timmy Tom site, not sure what "insert head" is it the tear drop shaped tube jig head? And not sure which model tube you are using? I use lots of the minnow tube but always trying to learn. You can ignore or PM if it is secret you prefer not to share. Thanks
Pico, Mitch has some nice insert heads.
Think he’s a sponsor here on CDC.
