Default How many ever wonder if weather conditrions are right ?

Before each trip I go to The Weather Channel on my computer . Look at nearest town and hourly report . Best weather information to plan your trip for next 48 hours . Some
lakes I won't fish under certain winds . Winds don't bother the fish just the fishermen . Hope this helps some people plan your next fishing trip .

Absolutely. I fish Ouachita lots and it’s big enough to dodge rain by watching radar. Don’t mess with lightning though.

    I always just go.
Weather people are not very accurate, in my area.
My lakes funnel the wind from every direction.
If the winds 30 plus, I probably won’t go depending on wind direction.
I do have a couple big lakes, that can get dangerous in 25 mph.
Thanks for the tip I’ll try it.

Does it seem like over your way Nimrod that the hills/mountains funnel the wind?

Some it can block the wind . One I fish it seems like it is funneled down east or west no matter direction .

Yep, a lot of times we think, let’s just run over so and so we will be out of the wind.
The hills funnel it every way.
