Default Not Crappie but What a Day!

Had an awesome morning in the bow stand! Was only in my Summit climber 16 minutes when this 20" wide 8 point came through following a doe. I waited until he was at the best opening and grunted him stopped and made a beautiful quartering away 55 yard heart shot! I compete and practice regularly out to 60 yards. Never thought I would have to shoot one that far.

What a refreshing post no mention of limits or livescope, you didn't use livescope did you? HAHAHAHA! A post with a successful trip. Very nice buck. And to do it with the ole stick and string method is still impressive. I don't deer hunt near as much as I used to, the mild fall weather and mild winter weather keeps me in the boat more now than it used to.
Welcome to the home of the, boat eating, trolling motor busting, prop bending, lower unit smashing, stump filled mud hole called Lake Conway.

WHew!!!! Nice indeed. I thought he was going to say too many people are killing deer this year so he might as well kill one himself and give the deer meat to friends.

Very nice! Nothing quite like bow hunting. I love it.
