    Default Millwood Lake

I'm considering a trip to Millwood in the next couple of weeks and staying at the state park on the south end. I've never been there before so any pointers or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

You probably already know, if not watch out for the gators.
The lower open lake can get dangerous in a hurry if the wind kicks up. Lots of stumps !
The river just up off the main lake might be good. Or the oxbows off of it.
Also be prepared for the bass schooling this time of year too.
Look for eagles and osprey too.
    Millwood has some of everything.
I think teal season is open. Watch out for camo boats running hard at daylight.
