Default Catching slabs in deep muddy water with Terry

Today Terry wanted to go try some open water fishing . Water was bad dingy and we had trouble with getting livescope cleared up . Same Huckabee Phanton rod , Timmy Tom insert jig heads and Southern Pro Umbrella tubes in purple /chartreuse . I told him I have friends that want to make them bite . My style is to look for fish that want to bite . He had a time trying to hold it on their nose . The dingy water made it tough cause they were slow to bite and had to hold it on their nose . He left with a good box of fish for his brother .

    Nice fish pic!
Good thing they don’t always bite, or I’d never leave the lake.

Thanks . Muddy water can be a tough one to fish . Livescope has helped to find them .But they still got to see your bait to bite . When your bait disappears at mere inches under the surface , amazes me they can see a bait bite at 15' deep or more . But most had to just hold it on their nose till they seen it . Wonder how they do it , maybe just see a shadow looking up towards the sun ? They still seem to spook if we made any noise . Really cool to see them slowly turn and bite . But kinda like seeing a Deer headed to your stand , a slab moving up slow and waiting on the thump ! My friend has livescope but fishes cover . He is understanding now how many fish we were missing suspended now .
