    Default Hunting a fishing spot

I started looking at small lakes trying to find a fix for my thump withdrawl . I did not get out early and wind started right after I did . Saw another boat and visited with them . They caught a few and I gave them what I caught . They were old timers like me and asked about Crappie. com . One of the guys said he used to live here but now lives in Louisanna . Sorry but I am not good remembering names . Started off OK but got tough real fast in the wind . Hoping the bigger lakes settle fast and we can start hunting the big ones down again soon . Flood control lakes are bad high .

It's a mighty rare day to feel the need to give Nimrod encouragement as he is usually on top of the fish and conditions. You've been delt a hard hand to play but we know full well you will prevail again with a little time.Keep your chin up as you now have another golden opportunity to learn Nimrod. Everybody knows it's only a matter of time til you are dead on them again. As always...enjoy your fishin.

Nimrod how long will it take for your lake to get back to normal?
I enjoy having to learn something new, once in a while.

Weeks without more rain . But think we can catch a few as soon as water settles a bit

That wind ain’t nothing like the chop created by the Trump boat parade on Ouachita today. I knew better than to go fishing on holiday weekend!
