    Default Beaver Lake Launch question

    Hi All - I'm going to Beaver Lake for the 1st time this weekend. My daughter lives in Rogers and I want to take her and her husband out on my 18' pontoon. I'm going up Friday afternoon and leaving late Saturday.

    I've never been there before so my questions are;

    1. what launch do you all recommend?
    2. Is it ok to pull the boat out Friday night and leave it and the truck in the parking lot or will I be towed / ticketed?

    Those 2 questions are most important but if you wanted to throw a general area to fish in (for anything, I'm not particular) I would be thankful to you.

    I usually fish out of the hickory creek launch. It’s a COE park. I think it’s $5 a day.
    Not so sure about overnight parking though there is a pretty big lot. I have been seeing it full with rigs through the day with pleasure boats.

    Hickory Creek is good sized. FLW used to launch 200 boat tourneys every year. Expect a crowd though and be patient.
