Default Can't live on Crappie alone / what's for supper ?

What's for supper at your house ? I picked and shelled Purple Hull Peas today. Put a pot of them on the stove with Onion ,Bacon , Bacon grease , Jalapeņo Peppers , Salt and a dash of Vinegar. When almost done placed a handful of Okra pods to steam on top like moma used to do. Had fresh Salsa ( Tomatoes , Jalapeno Peppers , Garlic , Onions , Salt , Lime juice , Cilantro). Dumped a big scoop of Salsa in my bowl of peas . Fried Flathead Catfish fillets . Washed it down with a Beer and bottled water .

Brown beans with a splash of pepper sauce, mashed taters, fried green tomatoes, sliced cucumber, cornbread, and tea. Had a short toddy before the meal
just for medicable purposes. Fried crappie tonight with onion rings and hushpuppies.
