We don’t have a specific year planned for the next drawdown on Lake Conway. We are waiting on the commission to approved the dam/spillway renovation plans and budget for and schedule the construction. We have been told that it is third on the priority list. However, another project was recently approved before this project. So now it is #4 on the list. It could be a few more years before a drawdown happens on Lake Conway. Our fear is that we will schedule a drawdown without the spillway renovation scheduled and then they will decide to approve the construction a year or so later and then we will have had multiple drawdowns in just a few years. This isn’t a good scenario for fish populations. I wish I had a better answer for you.
