    Going to Missouri this week,wanting to stop around Pocahontas or Newport to break up trip.Looking for a nice clean,affordable place to stay the night.Flound a place Shady River but looks booked.Thanks in advance

    Sorry, not very familiar with hotels in NE Arkansas. My grandpa used to live in Horseshoe Bend and we would always stop and fish the Strawberry River for smallmouth.

    It has been about 5 years since I have been by there. I generally head to north central or north western part of the state to stream fish these day.

    Pocahontas there's a older motel converted for duck hunters in the winter on the main hwy coming north.
    Can't give a name for it.
    I'm almost sure there's another chain
    Motel there as well.
