    Default White River NWR

Is it open? The phone message is 3 months old.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.
If you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can generally count on Paul's vote.

The river is at 26.7 feet so most of it will still be flooded.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Can you tell me what it takes to flood that place? And are you looking at the gauge at St.Charles? Just curious, I went on that deer hunt last year and the area we were in was under water.

Clarendon gauge. St Charles gauge is too hard to figure. The Mississippi gauge gets involved in the St Charles gauge. At 26 feet, you can go anywhere in the bottom you want to go by boat if you know the bottom at Clarendon. When the Clarendon gauge is 26 there is usually
water against the road on Hwy 1 at St Charles.
