    Same for me.....i cut them down and use some duct tape on the outside to make the hole in the middle tighten up. Cut a few slits in the ends then stuff the weight in the hole and wrap the line around and the through one of the slits. Works great for me.

    Yep, I push cranks in the summer, I use depth seeker line that has a black mark every 5 feet and changes line color every 25 feet. I put a swivel on the tag end of the line at the beginning of a 25 foot segment and attach a 2 ounce weight to the swivel on the opposite end of the weight I attach another swivel with a 3 foot leader that I tie the crank bait onto. Then I use the depth marks on the line to allow me to judge the amount of line out when I get a hit so I can set all cranks to the same depth.
